Who we are
Twisted Developments is a local marketing agency based in Miami-Dade, Florida. We manage Google Business Profiles, websites, content, and photography for South Florida businesses.
In this policy, "we" means Twisted Developments and "you" means the person visiting the site, filling out a form, or hiring us.
Information you give us directly
We collect only what we need to answer you and do the work:
- Name, email, phone, and business name when you fill out the contact form or request a quote.
- Billing address and contact details when you buy a service, a product, or a subscription.
- The permissions you grant us to manage your profiles when you hire that service.
- Photos, video, copy, and logos you send us to publish on your behalf.
- Internal notes about the work we do for you, so we can keep track of it.
Payment data
We do not ask for, see, or store card numbers. All card payments go straight to Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified processor.
For each transaction we keep the amount, date, description, the contact details Stripe returns to us, and the transaction identifier. That is what we need to issue receipts, handle refunds, and meet our accounting obligations.
Information collected automatically
Like any website, ours logs IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, referring site, and timestamps. Cloudflare, our infrastructure provider, generates those logs to serve the site, protect it from attacks, and measure traffic in aggregate.
We do not run third party advertising, social media pixels, or behavioral trackers on this site.
Cookies
We use the smallest possible number:
- A cart cookie that remembers the products you selected. It expires on its own and identifies no one.
- A session cookie for the admin panel, used only by our team.
- Cloudflare security cookies that block malicious traffic.
- No advertising cookies, and no third party marketing cookies.
How we use your information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Full stop.
- Answer your messages and prepare quotes.
- Deliver the service you hired and follow up on it.
- Charge you, issue receipts, and process refunds.
- Send emails tied to your purchase or service: confirmations, renewals, download links, gallery ready notices.
- Meet tax, accounting, and legal obligations in the United States.
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse of the site.
- Improve the site using aggregate traffic metrics.
Google account data and limited use
When you authorize us to manage your Google Business Profile, we access your account through Google OAuth. We request only the business.manage scope, which is the minimum needed to do the work.
We use that access solely to publish and edit your profile information, upload photos, respond to reviews, and read the performance metrics we report back to you.
Twisted Developments use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically: we do not transfer that data to third parties except as necessary to provide your service or as required by law; we do not use it for advertising or to build advertising profiles; we do not allow humans to read it except with your express permission, for security purposes, or where required by law; and we do not use it to train artificial intelligence models.
We never store your Google password. You can revoke our access at any time from your Google account permissions page, and you can also ask us to do it for you.
Who we share information with
We work with a short list of providers, and each receives only what it needs:
- Stripe: processes card payments and stores card data. We do not.
- Brevo: sends transactional email. It receives your name and email address.
- Cloudflare: hosts the site, the database, and the files. All content lives on its infrastructure.
- Google: receives the posts and replies we make on your profile at your instruction.
- Our accountant and tax authorities, where the law requires it.
Private photo and video galleries
Client galleries live behind a private link with a random identifier. They never appear on the public site, they stay out of search engines, and they are blocked in our robots.txt file.
Before payment, only reduced watermarked versions are shown. Original files are delivered once payment completes.
We keep the files for 12 months after delivery so you can download them again. If you would rather we delete them sooner, say the word and we will.
How long we keep information
- Contact form submissions that do not become clients: 24 months.
- Client records, invoices, and transactions: 7 years, as United States tax rules require.
- Photo and video gallery files: 12 months after delivery.
- Technical server logs: per Cloudflare standard retention, typically days.
Security
The whole site runs over HTTPS. The admin panel sits behind Cloudflare authentication. Private links use long random identifiers and cryptographic signatures. Keys and secrets live outside the code, in the Cloudflare secret store.
That said, no internet connected system is one hundred percent secure and it would be dishonest to promise you otherwise. If a breach ever affected your information, we would tell you.
Your rights
No matter which state you live in, with us you can:
- Request a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete your information, except what the law requires us to keep.
- Withdraw consent for us to manage your profiles.
- Stop receiving any email that is not strictly required for the service you paid for.
Minors
Our services are for businesses and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we learn that we did, we delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change something, we update the date shown above. If the change is significant and affects how we handle your information, we email active clients before it takes effect.
